Toady UK Channel 4 showed Disney's version of Aladdin in HD (end credits had restoration credits???) it was a bit sharper than the Derann release but I thought the colour was very much the same. Full marks to the lab that produced the Dearnn Super8 prints.

I am now watching "Hannie Clader" on Talking pictures TV the colour is also very good, but earlier when they showed the trailer it looked exactly like the Walton Super8 print of that - very contrasty, grainy and different colour. Again very similar so either the Walton prints have faded the same as 35mm ones or the trailer had multi-generation faults from the start and the Walton prints are good and fade free.

Cannot speak for Hannie Caulder, but Brian, you are certainly correct regarding Deranns Aladdin.
A brilliant print with colour and sharpness that easily equals the DVD if perhaps not the Blu Ray.

One of the very best.
