I'll be here through saturday, but in case I forget ...
HAPPY NEW YEAR FOLKS ...
May you all find those beloved prints that have escaped you ... May you're bulbs always burn bright! May you're film stocks always retain they're colors! (wishful thinking, eh?)
... and the best of health to each and everyone of you! After all, some of these projectors take a good deal of strength to haul about!

It certainly will be Osi, last week I got a letter from the NZ government, stating that as from begining of January I will recieve an old age pension as I will be hitting the 65 year mark.
Since leaving school at 15yrs I have been on the go from being a motor mechanic, aircraft engineer, projectionist, to a school bus driver. Its been a fantastic run, and met some very interesting people on the way.
I have never asked for a cent from the taxpayer, but now YES ....Oh! a couple of days ago they sent me my "gold card" which means I can travel on the busses for free
I will continue to work until the end of the first school term when its all over for them ""they lost the tender to someone cheaper...shame really as they were doing a very good job
Anyway....I am over the moon... thanks NZ government

There's an awful lot to be said for old age!! As one pensioner to another I love being able to do what I like all day, and getting on a bus free is absolutely wonderful, though how long this is going to last in the current financial situation no-one knows. Anyway, Happy New Year to you, Osi, and all the members of the forum.
