"Elstree Studios - A Celebration of Film and Television" is a large format hardcover book which I have recently purchased from The Book Depository via Amazon (do not buy direct them as it costs more!)

Hertsmere Borough Council receives in excess of £1 million a year from Elstree Studios which it bought in 1996. The income subsidising the council tax for every home in the Borough by 20%. This is just one interesting titbit from the Book by Morris Bright and Paul Burton. 192 pages and hundreds of images make up this oversized book which is 11" x 9".

Reading sometimes just like a film library catalogue and printed on annoyingly various coloured pages, it is, nevertheless, a book for every film lover who is taken through nine decades of film and television production at the studios.
