OK, for those that fondly remember this classic radio show that ran from January 6th 1974 to December 22nd 1982, this will be an incredible find!

For years, most of these shows were recorded by those lucky folks on, usually, audio cassettes and later, when it was on FM radio (the Himan Brown revival of it, taken from the original master tapes, quite good), on even a CD or two ...

well, this is an incredible find! These are taken from original LP copies of the show that were actually used for braodcast, but from the original first generation source!

I have NEVER heard these shows sound this incredibly good, and if you love this show, by all means, download all of these shows for yourself!

I mean, it literally sounds like you are in the recording studio with the actors!!!

enjoy!

Interestingly, only about 29 of the shows sound like they are from original source materials. It appears that someone actually recorded, directly onto vinyl, the other ones. (someone must have had thier own turntable recording apparatus?)

At any rate, those 29 great shows, I'm going tp put thru my Audacity audio program, as it has that software to get rid of pops and hiss and the occasional scratch, to clean them up even more, and then put them on CD!
