I have just checked a couple of 70mm film frame clips i have.

Bridge On The River Kwai ... faded to red.

Lawrence Of Arabia ... faded to pink.

Gets everywhere it does !

Shame really as i have had them a long long long time and they
were nice keepsakes from the original prints.

Oh well that's life. [Wink] [Wink] [Wink]

Is it a co-incidence,or not, that your 70mm frame of Bridge on The River Kwai is red....... which is the same colour that I have seen 3 or 4 copies of it on super 8mm ?

Melvin now that you mention it I have not checked my Super 8mm
400' version of this in ages.

The colour is most probably faded on that too.

Since Technicolor ran only on 35mm equipment, all 70mm prints prior to LPP stock (c.1982) are faded.

Quite sad, really.
