Bought through amazon in Spain to get the right region B coding.
We went as a family to watch this film at the cinema when it came out way back in 1993. Even though its been now 24 years, its still a good movie to watch. The transfer to blu-ray is excellent, and although its a Spanish release, its easy to select the English audio soundtrack in DTS 5:1. What makes this movie stand out, was what was to happen to "Keiko" after the films release . Warner Bros released an excellent video a few years back, called "The Free Willy Story" Keoko's Journey Home.
I cant think of another example, where a major studio undertook such a task, and that was really due to the kids worldwide that wrote letters to the studio.
"Free Willy" is still an excellent family movie for everyone, and who can forget the end titles with the song by Michael Jackson called "Will You Be There"
Here are a couple of screen shots from tonights screening of it on blu-ray..
