I wonder if anyone has ever seen this title before?
Any info would be most welcome.

Lee, I couldn't print your picture (I got a kind of "stolen picture" message), so I took a picture with my camera and showed it. Without surprise, nobody could name a film from a single frame. There is however a French specialist good in identifying 9,5 films. A lady, member of the French 9,5 club will meet this specialist (precisially to identify untitlled films) this Sunday. As I could not print your picture, I had to print the one I took with my camera and it will be posted tomorrow morning. If the post is quick enough, we may receive an answer soon, othewise we will have to wait longer, I am affraid. Let's keep our finger crossed for the post and for the miracle it would be to know anything about this mysterious film.

I haven't get any feedback, yet about the "Hi-Fi film" but have a question about a leader I have. It is a sound leader added on an optical sound film (which is a confusing to do, but that's another debate). What is strange is that there is a magnetic track on both (right and left) sides. What's the interest of that ? In other gauges, ther is a compensation track but much narrower than the main track, so I guess it is not something like that. And of course, my subquestion : has anyone already see that on a film (and not only on a leader) ?

It seems that the picture does not come from a studio film but from a "home movie" one. I got not direct contact with the specialist so I am still waiting for more détails but the first feedaback I got is that a detail on the picture (I don't know which one, yet) shows that it is from an amateur film.

The picture you posted is still making people think. Yesterday, Madame Latrasse, an active member from the French club called me to give me the phone number of the specialist, Monsieur Berger. I have just spoken with him. Could you give some détails about the picture. Obviousely, it comes from a silent film ; do you have other frames of the film ? Did you resize the picture (the perforations seen on the black frame are not the original, are they ?). Or any other precision that could help.

Hi Dom and Lee, Just a thought or two. That title maybe from an amateur who synchronised his film via a Syncrodeck or similar device to a reel to reel tape recorder. I know I did this and titled similarly back in my youth!! The dual striped film could similarly be by someone who added stereo sound using two magnetic heads. We old 9.5ers are a very ingenious lot!
