The plastic spindle that helps to guide the film which is also used to correct the projector height has broken off.

Any suggestions as to what sort of epoxy to use for this?

I tried taking the spindle out from the inside to get a close look at it but the screws holding the plastic plate protecting the spindle from the back are really stuck.

I use the 2 part 5 minute eboxy for my repairs and it works great
