New to 8mmForum. It's awesome, love it. I'm looking for a Scope Lens for a Elmo ST1200HD projector. I have a ELMO ZOOM LENS SUPER 12.5-25mm F1.1 now. Thanks for any help.

Steve

Welcome to the 8mm Forum, Steve!

There's always room for another Steve here! (Takes some of the pressure off me!)

I'm pleased to let you know that you live in a state with a film collector's convention:

CineSea XIII

CineSea XII Pictures

CineSea VI on YouTube

-and it's coming up in April.

Have you tried Steve Osbourne of the Reel Image for a 'scope lens? (You can trust him based on the name alone!)

(You'll also need a bracket of some kind.)

Hi Steve,

WOW Thank You So Much for the info. This is just simply amazing. I had no idea all of this went on. I watched the video from the link you supplied of CineSea VI on YouTube. WOW so so cool. I for sure need to hit the New Jersey Lottery (PowerBall) that is now 1.5-Billion dollars.

Yes Thank You, I did send an email to Steve Osbourne of the Reel Image for a scope lens and info of the release of True Lies on Super-8. However I didn't know about the bracket. I will ask Steve once I'm able get in touch with him.

Again, Steve Thank You so much for all of your information and welcome to the forum.

Steve Meyer

We're in it too! (usually don't, but...)

There's a little movie theater in Wildwood that's closed and for sale right now that wouldn't be either for sale or closed very long if we hit that prize!

You are roughly at a two hour drive the get to CineSea, without even Staten Island in your way! If you wanted you could do a day trip, but the full shebang is well worth it!

Dear new Steve,
Steve K. steered you in the right direction; Steve O. is a wonderful person to deal with and the scope bracket he sells for the Elmo's is definitely the way to go. Steve O. will hold items for you if needed and can work out a payment plan. Welcome to the forum where you can relax and be just one of the Steves.

"Steve" is just one of those names that's so common you don't even bother to answer to it when someone shouts it out in a crowd!

(I'm sure you can sympathize, Paul...)

I work in a row of 8 cubicles, and three of us are named "Steve". Every time we get an assignment in a meeting, there's this five second lag while we figure out which of us is getting more work!

In recognition of this confusing name I should have sworn never to name a son this...(-even moreso a daughter)

-so we call him "Steven".

I'm not complaining that much: if my parents wanted to name me after some other Saint I could have wound up with "Aloyisus"!

-my Grandfather wanted me named after him, and his name was "Herman".

This was two years before "The Munsters" premiered...

I would never have lived all the way through Junior High!

You should feel honored!

Steve O's classic M.O. is mailing handwritten post cards, even in response to E-mails. As a matter of fact he saw a thread I started here and enjoyed it so much he responded to THAT with a postcard.(1)

He's a great guy! He's one of those people who has so much enthusiasm for this stuff it's hard to have any contact with him at all without it rubbing off on you too!

Notes:
(1)-and I kept it, too!
