Gamera on eBay

I had never heard of a digest of any Gamera films, so I was very curious when this appeared on eBay. I won the auction, so.....

This 300 footer consists entirely of battle scenes between the monsters from Gamera vs. Gyaos. Not having seen the film for decades, I believe this is primarily two segments: the first meeting of the two, when Gyaos flies away because of the sunrise, and the climactic fight. There are no beginning or end titles. It starts abruptly and ends the same way, cutting out before Gamera tosses his foe into a volcano.

Decent print with good color, but no balance stripe. I can't tell where this print originated from as the leader has been removed and there isn't any dialogue (aside from the monsters) for a clue.

I screened this at CineSea and it went over well. It's hard not to like a giant flame breathing turtle who can fly when he contracts into his shell and fire blasts out of the holes!
