Paul...FYI Check out this link in the Techinical Tips section:
This is an alternative to gaining a larger picture for very low cost. This can be a short term approach or long term depending on the lens and your expectations.
I have an Elmo 38mm prime lens, but find it still doesn't fill my screen at 15ft. So I initially purchased the 3D printed 16CL sleeve adapter as mentioned in the link above and used it with different 8mm lenses. It worked very well.
I eventually found a better prime 25mm lens with adapter sleeve on Ebay which I use the majority of the time. There isn't as much light as the Elmo prime lenses, but very acceptable.
Here is an Ebay listing you might want to consider:

hi Janice. thank you so much for your help. i am most grateful. i have never had a 16CL before. it runs lovely. and quiet too. the only thing i do miss is not having a loop restorer button/lever or an inching knob. other than that a really nice machine.

I think you will find the Elmo 16CL to be very easy to use and reliable projector. I hate to admit it...but I have 5 of them. I alternate to keep them running well.
You really don't need an inching knob with a channel load projector and the auto loop restorer system works very well when moving freely and adjusted properly. If you are having a problem with the loop restorer post it and I'll see if I can help.

hi Janice. great you having five of these. i have eight various Eiki/Elf models so the Elmo 16CL is different to me. the user manual says if film used with any damage the loop could be lost. when this happens turn of projector and restart. so different to the Eiki's.

As with Eiki there were both zoom and 'fixed' wide adapters for the Elmo. Elmo 16mm lenses can be found at: 12.5mm, 20mm, 38mm and then 50mm at least. No 25mm that I have seen but the best bet is the 38mm and the zoom adapter though the zoom works with the 20mm with some distortion at the extremes.
