Earlier today, I made a date with my girlfriend to see a movie from a director we both admire; Wes Anderson. His new film, 'Moonrise Kingdom' is still playing in limited release theaters after opening the 2012 Cannes Film Festival.
This movie should be required viewing for any film student and film collector. Most importantly, I think this is Wes Anderson's best work after and after some thought, was reassured when I looked into trivia for the film and found out it was shot on 16mm!
