You dont see these to ofter at this Price, mainly in the thousands, was surprized to see in photos from New York.
I saw a documentary some time ago on youtube, about how back in the begining of Electricity devices were powered from the light Socket.
Looks like this could be too.

Well in the 1950's I remember my mum powering her iron via a two way adapter from the light fitting in the centre of the room. It did stop others tripping over the wire!!
