    A reel of Pathe 4.75mm film sold on eBay today. I had heard of it, but never seen one before...

    Just picked up a Pathe Monaco duplex Projector with around 40 of the 4.75 monoplex colour films and several blank spools.. It is fitted with two Berthiot f1.5 lenses 40mm and 25mm focal lengths. I have to say the 4.75 is not the easiest to load and thankfully I had an English version of the manual as there are certain things that have to be in place so the claw is undamaged. I still need to fiddle with the projector to position that gate correctly but all in all good fun. When I get a chance I will give it a run with 9.5 as well.

      This was the 1st Widescreen Format for the Amateur / Independent Filmmaker way back in 1956
      ahead of its time, Super 16mm didn't come out till 1969.
      Also available in 4.75mm was the Pathe Lido Duplex Camera.
