Wow, you're a true craftsman, and it's nice to see how the projector has turned out. Thank you for your email too - I read it a couple of days ago v quickly, and as I was busy I didn't have time to reply, so am sorry about that, but yes, thank you so much for the offer. I'd love to be able to say that I'd be able to fit the handle myself, but I don't have many tools at my disposal, so I'll send the entire thing to you. Will pay for all postage of course.
I'll have to measure the rubber piece again, I checked the thread and my original about the pad disappeared. This won't take too long, but it will have to be tomorrow, unless I get another chance today.
When you get round to the bulb in the projector - would you mind telling me which one you used? I have an original Pathe 6V, but am averse to using it.
some more progress. The crank is finished except nickel plating it. The brass screws also need to be nickel plated and the plate has only a coat of primer.
Pulleys are also done so next step is to figure out how to adapt a 6v lightbulb and start testing it.
