I'm currently reading recently acquired back numbers of the French Ciné-club 9,5 de France magazine. In the February 1969 issue, I read two interesting things : 1) The American "Popular Photography" published a complete review of the 9.5 gauge (unfortunately, they didn't précise which month) at readers'request. And that seems to have made some Americans to buy 9.5 material. 2) There has been a 9.5 club in Colorado!
That's all new for me. So far, I thought 9.5 had been "popular" in the US only at the beginning, before Kodak competed with the 16mm. I was aware of the American 9.5 club (and its website) from the '90s, and of course of our dynamic forum member Dino Everett who has rescued a large British 9.5 collection, but I had no idea of 9.5 in the '60s, in the USA. If anyone knows more about that...

I have still a lot of magazines to read. Maybe, I will read more about the American advenures of the 9.5?
