Also Douglas was a regular writer with his "Cine Diary" column for IMM (International Movie Making) a magazine on all Film Gauges that lasted some 20 years, by Editor Roy Salmons from UK.

    Douglas Macintosh has died

I've just received a sad e-mail. This is the extract regarding Douglas Macintosh : "Group 9.5 member Douglas Macintosh died at home on the Isle of Man in early July at the age of 83. He was very well known among nine-fivers and he wrote a book "A Handbook of 9.5mm Cinematography" published in 2000. There will be a tribute in the next issue of the Group 9.5 magazine"
