Thank you!
I had a great day. My big bag was so full of films that I didn't bid at the auction for several films that intetessed me.[/QUOTE]
Dominique - If you had mentioned this to me at the time, you could have bid for them. I could have taken them home with me and brought them to Blackpool for you next month. Such a pity as the films were all a very good price. You would just have to bring an extra large bag to carry them home in.
Anyway, here are some extra photographs of the event to compliment yours.......
Thanks, Melvin, though that doesn't help me to be reasonnable At the end, I'm happy David Tatham could have those films. Will be happy to see you at Blackpool as well.
Tony Reypert set off to travel to Chorleywood but got caught in torrential rain on the motorway and decided to return home. A wise decision as the weather was absolutely horrendous.
Thanks to all who posted photos of the event. I did recognise some of ‘the usual suspects’. I think this was only about the third Get Together I have missed since they first started . Good to know Ken Valentine was there. He did indeed work for Pathescope at Cricklewood, then Fosters and afterwords continued doing repairs etc. as Valentine /Cook. I am so sorry I missed having a good natter with him. Ken MFinch😊
