Hi Allan, your mention of Widmore Road has jogged my memory. I think I purchased my secondhand 200B Plus from them in response to an ad in A C W. Eventually traded it in for PAX from Larry Pearce. Ken Finch π

One of my fave titles was 'Master of the World' (SB887) , a 3 reeler silent version of a german film titled 'Ein Unsichtbarer geht durch die Stadt' (also titled 'An invisible man walks through the city) which I now have on dvd from a german distributor (albeit without english subtitles!)
Someone is selling the 9.5 version on ebay which is tempting though, I no longer have a 9.5 projector.
Perhaps taking nostalgia a little too far?

Playing a Digital copy is ok, but not as Enjoyable as Showing the original copy on Film, there is something about seeing and hearing the Projector, it gives you that original Cinema Experience.
All is not lost in 9.5mm there is still the Annual 9.5mm International Film Festival in Spain,
and another 9.5mm group in France, Cine-Club 9,5.
Plus working 9.5mm Projectors are still be sold mainly in the UK & EU, thanks to ebay. For 9.5mm Projector repairs, or modified New globes put in, I'm sure there are many repairers in UK & EU still left.
Thanks to the 9.5mm Vintage Film Encyclopedia from UK, there are many films to Collect & Project & Enjoy.

Not really Allan. There are many topics that have been repeated from the old forum and this one which shows that many of the younger people are as bad if not worse. I often forget names, places and dates etc but then remember them half an hour afterwards! So donβt book that home. Ken Finch.π
