Not sure if I'm posting this correctly! This is a screen shot from The Human Chain.

Thanks for posting those pictures. Since I'm in Egypt at the moment, I had to miss that projection.

Forgot to say, piano accompaniment by Colin Sell and John Sweeney. Cyrus Gabrysch played for the second half, a 35 mm print of "It" (1927) with Clara Bow. Michelle Facey did a very informative introduction as usual, with the bonus of recollections of 10 years of the Kennington Bioscope. We all had a complimentary glass of Prosecco.

That's really to make us regret we couldn't attend...😁

Is that Colin Sell of I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue fame?

Is Chris Bird any relation to John Bird (who I met at a couple of the BFCC's)?

Many thanks Cliff for the write up and photos. Yes, that's Colin Sell from I'm Sorry I Haven't a Clue. He's one of about six pianists we regularly have for our Kennington Bioscope shows there (rare silent films, often on film). But as for myself, I'm not related to John Bird. Here are a couple more photos from the show.
