SMPTE Test Film?

Hi!

Another topic that I have run into:
There have been various SMPTE Test films for 8mm, Super8 and 16mm (and of course 35mm and above). Some of them were designed to test the sound playback, others as a focus test,… .
… But have there ever been test films for 9.5mm?

Yes, there is. I have a copy of the RCA SMPTE test film for checking and adjustment of the scanning slit. No picture, just sound track. I obtained it some years ago at one of the Group 9.5 meetings. They were used by Pathescope and projector repairers etc.
