Nice projector Paul, I'll keep an eye on that auction. You're right about the flaw in the casework, my EX-3500 had exactly the same crack in exactly the same place!

I've had cracks in the same place on two or three Eikis in the same series! They seemed to make the back covers too tight a fit, so I found it helps to file away a little of the plastic on the inside before replacing the cover, having used some glue to repair it. It's interesting to see an 'Elf' decal in that position on the handle before, which I haven't previously seen on a UK SSL or a SNT.
