Is Elmo 16 AL bracket different from 16 CL? I have once offered them for sale but I totally forgot now. What I do still remember is the 16 AL did not come with a shoe because the shoe is built in the projector.Originally posted by Lincoln Thorn View Post

If you think they are the same, I still have two 16-CL brackets loosing the shoe and can sell it for a cheaper price. But please be sure it will fit to your projector.

The 16-CL scope bracket fits into two holes in the front of the projector. It's in two pieces. The holder for the lens "lives" up vertically when not in use, drops down for showing scope films.
The 16-AL already has some sort of a slide to hold a scope lens. Click to see the picture below which clearly shows the "slide" holder. The Instruction Book describes it as "Scope lens holder socket".
Ii is possible that the main part of the CL scope assembly might fit. Perhaps Winbert could verify my thoughts.
