    Hello forum members,

Finally we have started printing our first feature. It comes from a beautiful 35mm master and looks truly awesome. We’re offering this one both on Super 8 and 16mm. We have a new from lab 16mm print available NOW. You can choose which audio language option you wish (English, French, Italian, Spanish, Deutsch, Portuguese or Nederlands). Audio is MAGNETIC .

Price is 1580 € plus shipping (30€ to the EU, 40€ to UK/ US).

Film comes mounted on cores without artwork and includes a commemorative 35mm actual film strip of the movie. If you don’t want to wait, this is an unique opportunity to get fast a gorgeous, new from lab 16mm print of a timeless classic.

    Hi Ruben

Alice In Wonderland sounds great! I am very interested in a 16mm print. But I do not want it with magnetic sound. Can I please get a copy with optical sound in English?

Please let us know about optical sound. I am sure many people on the forum would be interested in optical instead of magnetic. Thank you in advance for getting back to me/us.

    Have a good day,
    Ken

      Hi Ken,

16mm optical would only be viable for a very large run of prints and market is now very, very small. Our 16 only releases are all magnetic sound only too. On a very positive side, 16mm magnetic sound offers a clear quality advantage over optical and, this is good for us, the possibility of different audio dubs 😉

      Best,

      Ruben

        Hi Ruben

thank you for getting back to me in regards to optical sound for Alice. That’s too bad because I can only do optical sound prints. Maybe if there’s enough interest from People on the forum, we can do a package deal of a few prints. It is truly one I would like to have but…….

suggestion, maybe before you put out a release in 16 maybe you could take a poll to see how many people would be interested in it and an optical sound that way you’d have an idea and see if it’s feasible

if you should end up making any optical sound prints please keep me in mind and let me know. Have a good day

          Hello Ken,

Creating a 16mm sound negative is very, very expensive. Market for film prints is so small that we have address collectors worldwide, therefore we must provide movies in several languages… same situation for Super 8 releases. BTW, 16mm projectors with optical and magnetic sound are easy to find quite cheap and magnetic audio in 16mm is fuller and richer without doubt. I encourage you to give magnetic prints a try. I’m sure you’ll appreciate them.

          Best,

          Ruben
