FS: 7 of the 12 chapters of this great 1937 Republic serial starring Bela Lugosi and Ralph (of "Dick Tracy" fame) Byrd. Bela as "Boroff" has "disintegrating gas" he wants to sell to the highest bidder with the help of his tragic henchman, Thorg. Ralph is a Coast Guard hero battling him to the end. Lots of fun and cliffhanger action. (I'll bet Bela wasn't happy to have his character named a shortened version of Boris Karloff) Ch 1 is longer than the others: 1200 ft, rest are 800. Four are on plastic reels, 3 are on cores.
$160 including media mail shipping for the lot. Overall in nice shape with credits and leaders.
Ch 1 Disaster at Sea. about 1000 ft--longer than later episodes. lines and snow early--much better after first couple of minutes.
Ch 2 Barrage of Death “Thunderbird Films Presents” Moderate wear with lines and some snow, round flickering spot left side of frame through most.
CH3 The Gas Chamber. Thunderbird films. Light to moderate wear. nice shape. better than ch 2, a bit darker than the other chapters.
CH 7. Undersea Terror. Very nice condition--very light wear. better than 1-3.
CH 10 The Acid Trail. excellent condition. Very light minor wear.
Ch 11 The sea battle. Moderate wear--some lines and snow throughout.
Ch 12 the Deadly Circle/ Excellent condition Some snow/specks, free of lines for first half; one dark line appears about halfway through for about 5 minutes.
