For sale: a complete 16mm print of Tell it to the Marines (1926). This was Lon Chaney's favourite of all his performances, and one of the few where he appears in his real guise, with no makeup. It was MGM's second biggest hit of the year. Chaney expert Jon Mirsalis describes it as 'one of the gems of Chaney's career'.
The print is near mint, silent, on 2 x 2000' spools. It appears to be a dupe, but a good one. The only fault I can find with it is that it is graded a tiny bit on the light side, but still a very good print overall. The MGM logo (silent!) is present at the front.
I paid £195 for it, but I will take £145 plus shipping for it. UK buyers only please - it will cost a fortune to ship abroad, and is much more complicated if the buyer wants to return it.
