There is wonderful entertainment value just watching a 16mm Star Wars auction!
-We had one top out over $3500.00 a few years ago, it was great drama to see it happen.
(Even better since the seller was a friend!)

How do they even know if they got a good 16mm Print, cant tell from Titles, see this 16mm Star Wars film its all Red.

To some extent it doesn't matter if the print is in good condition in these cases. To us, this is a film print and if we get it, we'll want to see it. There are a lot of people that it is a Star Wars Collectible. They might have as much intention of projecting it as growing a third arm!
That $3,770 print I mentioned up top was red, it said so in the E-bay page, and I think there were screenshots too. It started for something like 50 bucks and just caught fire. I hope whoever got it could really afford it and wasn't bidding with his ego and credit card!
It was great to watch, but I was pretty content to stay a spectator. (I've bought cars for less!)Comment
