Bickford Waner, who has failed as a train robber, decides to go straight and get an honest job. He arrives in Dime Box, Texas, to find work. He is befriended by Reese Ford and his wife Molly.
Shot just after THE LAST MOVIE, this western presents Dennis Hopper as an anti-hero, typical of the New Hollywood era. There are some satirical and funny moments, with a background of couter-culture failed promises.
A must see for any fan of the New Hollywood era, and a rare and collectible Dennis Hopper film.
This 16mm print is complete and in scope (you will need a scope lens or hypergonar to screen it properly).
Original English langage optical track with no subtitles.
It's one of the best 16mm I have ever seen, almost no scratches, splices, warping or anything, sound is great.
Most of all the colors are excellent which seems rare for that period : see pictures attached.
It comes on 3 spools in a cardboard box with clean new headers.
Opening and end credits are complete.
No VS.
The poster is not included, it is just for illustration purpose.
