BORN AGAIN 106 mins. £40. Colour
Taken from the autobiography of Charles Colson, this film starring Dean Jones was a major cinema release in 1978. Colson was one of Nixon’s closest aides and was publicly humiliated and imprisoned following Watergate. This is a dramatic presentation revealing how he came to Christ. The print is in mint condition. It is unmarked with glowing colour.
THE CANDLEMAKER. 13 mins. £20. Red
A candlemaker trusts his son to make the candle for the Christmas service but his pet mouse causes him to leave out the wick! Forgiven by his father, he remakes the candle and learns a valuable lesson in stewardship. A lovely Halas & Batchelor cartoon in good condition but colour has faded to red. Print in good condition with 3 splices near beginning and odd light line. No V.S. or perf damage. Pretty rare.

A friendless young woman makes her way through crowded city streets. Suddenly the routine of faceless people and congested traffic is broken when she discovers a shiny nail lying on the pavement. This ordinary object takes on unusual significance for her and subtly begins to change the empty character of her mundane existence. A Rolf Forsberg parable film in fine condition with good colour. Excellent print with no lines, splices or damage. Very nice colour

Based on the book ‘The Genesis Flood’ by Drs. Henry Morris and John Whitcombe, this film looks at the Bible account of the flood and, by live action, special effects and original art work, brings many of the recurring questions into the light of possibility, thus strengthening faith. A very interesting film. Print is in superb condition with fine colour. Six small Perf repairs for approx 1 min from start. No other damage. Glowing Colour

A modern Children’s Film Foundation production made almost at the end of their existence. Intended for children’s Saturday Morning picture shows, this is a fine example of how much such films had changed since their early days. Print is in almost new condition with fine colour and no splices or lines. A story that will be enjoyed by both Children and adults.
