  • Just Purchased a Cine Victor 16mm projector

    Hi Guys,
Just lashed out and purchased this at auction today. Any tips would be appreciated.

One thing for sure - don't plug it in right at the moment without some preliminary check at least! It might either immediately spring up to life, or goes up to smoke - who knows?

Yes for sure, it was with a heap of others up for sale. Always a risk when buying at auction

The Victors were quite reliable old machines and quite odd with the way the feed spool is at the REAR and the Takeup is at the FRONT.
Also all those I have ever seen were all 110Volt operation and require the VERY Hefty 240 to 110V transformer.
So be careful plugging it in CHECK if it IS a 110V unit.

I have a collection of Victor Model 40 projectors and they are all 110-120 volt so you need a transformer. Great projectors.
