Have used one of those machines ONCE and the light output is very good although lamp life is rather short at 75 hours at best. They use a Gemini type lamps which now are rather hard to obtain..if at all as I believe GEC no longer makes them.
I have a pair of B& H 666 machines which use the slightly larger Marc 300 lamps and I used to push the image to 7M wide on a commercial basis quite regularly and again the supply of those lamps has ceased.
When I could NOT source a Marc 300 lamp I made an adapter plate to take the Gemini lamp in the 666 and due to its smaller size the on screen light was at least 15% better than a new Marc 300 in side by side tests onto a big screen. Then Gemini lamps supply dried up.😕
I still use the 666 units occasionally as I have a stock of NOS Marc 300 lamps so when I want a large bright screen image thats what I use.

great projectors, but the control board pcb and lamp ballest were manufactured by general electric and always fail. i have repaired all these faults. the bell and howell parts are great.
