Just bought from eBay a 16mm black & white Mickey Mouse cartoon "Playful Pluto" (1934). Before I bought I checked it out on YouTube. I clicked and was surprised when it started in Colour. I did eventually find a black & white copy and was able to compare them. The only only difference was that the colour copy had new titles, I further discovered that it was computer colored in 1991.
More Google research found a Forum site which talked about the colorization of the short black & white Disney cartoons, apparently 55 were done.
