I must have hundred of 16mm films on blue Tuscan spools. But, a few days ago I bought a 16mm feature which came on two green 2000' Tuscan spools. Yes. Green. The design has not altered, just the colour. They state "Made in England by Tuscan Cinematic Ltd London".
Any ideas anyone?
Of course, I'm old enough to remember when they were first introduced in Australia some 60 years ago. They were made by the Australian Reel Co Pty Ltd, and the cans had a boomerang with stars on them as a logo, with the words "Australian Made".
