I have just bought a 16mm copy of "The Killer Likes Candy", a 1968 co-production of Italy/France/West Germany. It's on Agfa stock and is in 'scope. It has an intro on different stock with the Derann logo and "Derann", it also has a sound intro.
I know that around the early 80s many 16mm distributors entered the video market with VHS and Betamax tapes, as did Derann. Most films were often from small outlets before the days of video censorship.
I am thinking that perhaps Derann had this copy for video transfer, and in this case, does anyone have a Derann video list which may confirm my thoughts?
Killer Likes Candy, The (1968) on Video Tapes International (VTI) (United Kingdom Betamax, VHS videotape) (videocollector.co.uk)
Un killer per sua maestà (1968) - IMDb
