Elmo 16mm SL projector

Hi I've just purchased a Elmo 16mm SL projector not slot load and can't find any information on it .
Are they a good machine?

Are you sure it's an SL?

Very Similar to a 16A Maurice but more greyey coloured.

A good one should run nice and smoothly Barry.

No knockey sounds etc from the drive.

A good one is very quiet.

Look at the silver sided sound princh roller, holds the film against the sound drum and make sure its sprinning freely and the rubber is OK Barry and you should be OK.

An automatic loader with every function you can think of. Forward/reverse/still/flickerless slow projection, dual speed, M/O audio, halogen lamp, fast f1.2 lens, circulated oil lube system, etc. You name it.

Unfortunately mine did have speed fluctuation issue which I couldn't figure out. Finally sold it away. Only if I can fix that issue it could easily be my "dream" projector.

Sounds good but I don't think it's got slow Mo but looks very similar to the one in your pictures is it belt driven do you know as its not been delivered yet have to wait until next week sometime.
