Hello, I purchased a Natco 3030-1 projector and when I turn the light on the motor stops and it starts getting extremely hot. Any Ideas what would cause this? The motor runs great and light bulbs work, they just shut down the motor. Also where do you oil these projectors. Thanks in Advance.

do you have a damaged motor coil,take the motor cover off and see,if you can take a picture of the motor coil,thanks -
What exactly gets extremely HOT???
I am guessing it is the lamp house as without the motor running (which usually has the fan to cool the lamp attached to its shaft) the lamp area would become VERY hot.
IF that is the case then there is something screwy with the motor & lamp switches as with BOTH on motor and lamp should operate.Comment
