HELP! Last night the sound was working fine on my Eiki NT-O 16mm projector but this morning no sound. I noticed the green exciter light wasn't on Took the exciter cover off and jiggled the bulb around and it flickered a littler then it stopped. No flicker at all now. The bulb itself doesn't look broken and I'm guessing its some kind of connection problem. Should I open the back and see if a wire came loose? Please offer any advice you guys may have. I have no real experience with the inner workings of this projector. Thanks in advance, Brian

Hi Brian,
Hopefully it's just a little oxide on the contacts: maybe if you remove the bulb and polish them, it will come back.
If you have some sort of continuity tester you can check the bulb too.
A few weeks ago, I realized I was headed into the Christmas holidays without a spare exciter bulb. Rather than having a week of silent 16mm, two spares just showed up!
