  • Bauer P5 projector - upgrading pulleys to accomodate for newly available belts

    Hello,

I am in the process of repairing a Bauer P5 project. The issue is that the motor belts need to be replaced. But these belts are not available anymore. We check with several belt suppliers if these can be made again. But the startup costs for this would be astronomical.

Here a pictures of the detoriated belts inside the projector:

Therefore I want to take the same approach as we have done with the Bauer P6 / P7 studio. Here is the same problem where the new belts are not available anymore. We created a set of new teethed pulleys on which generally available belts fit:

    But I need your assistence!

I am in the process of replacing the pulleys and want to keep as much as the Bauer P5 projector in tact. Does anyone has some tips how I can remove the pulleys from the main axis?
