  • Does brand new 16mm reel (16") have valuable price?

I am not really into 16mm so I don't have any idea but I just found new old stocks of 16mm reel (size 16" = 2000 feet) made by Tuscan (Australia).

They are made of plastic but without the can.

It is quite heavy if I am sending overseas, hence would be high cost. So how much people usually pay for this type of reels domestically?

    best regards,
    winbert

    Reel + Can = 90€ = 100US$
(But Wittner's prices are usually too high!)

Price per can: Approximately 10 US$ when buying large quantities:

=> Hence, a reel would be something between 80-90€.

Most 16mm sound feature films have usually been on 1600ft reels as are the take up reels supplied with the projectors. However, Fosters appears to have one for around £15. EBay reel prices of any size or gauge are ridiculous! Ken Finch 😊

I guess although they are NOS items but due to high shipping costs from my place (around $40sh) then it would not be economical.
