    Hi Folks

Turned on my ELF SNT-2 this morning and no lamps lighting (main or exciter), but motor is running ok
Changed the main bulb but still not lighting

I suspect therefore a fuse blown, but my questions are :

    1. Do the main lamp and exciter lamp run off the same fuse ? (If not what would be the cause of both lamps not lighting)
    2. What fuse is needed for the lamps
    3. I see from a diagram online the fuses are located near the fly wheel on the lens side of the projector with the cover off - any guidance on how to replace the fuse would be great before I try to change (ie which is lamp fuse and which is amplifier fuse) ?

    Thanks

    John

The exciter lamp fuse is located behind the flywheel. To replace this just remove the flywheel screw in the center - the whole flywheel will simply pop out. That should give you access to the fuse.

If you have a multimeter I highly recommend poking it to measure the voltage across the lamp socket as well. Does it receive 4vdc power as it should? Same applies to the projector lamp socket, but 24vac in this case.
