Hi everyone!
I recently snagged my parents old Sankyo Sound XL-600S. I'm very eager and excited to start using super 8 film.
The camera works fine for about a minute or so when running on battery power, but abruptly stops. I think this is because the one battery contact (see photo) was pretty corroded and therefore badly stripped and gets overheated after a bit of use.
I've looked at buying replacement battery holders, but the contacts don't line up with this particular model.
Does anyone happen to have a replacement for this and would be willing to part with? Or maybe some knowledge as to how I could go about fixing this?
Thanks in advance!
