Here’s a handy repair video for Simla 250. Have to admit don’t like the knobs. Reminds me of Optimax projector all electronic and once they went wrong unless handy unfixable.

I used to have a standard 8 version of the above, quiet runner but never happy with the speed control so I sold it on.

Hi John, I`ve been after something a bit quieter than the Elmo 1200 for a while now. Bauer 600 range etc.

Theres never anything up this way, re picking one up in person.

I do really like the bauer T60 and T50`s.

But might be hard to find a little used one of thouse in the UK.

Though probably better than a Silma by the sound of it and worth waiting.

Also the gate finish seems very so so on the 240`s and 250 silma`s.
