Hi, I need something to hold my lens to my projector.
If anyone has anything, please let me know, would love to have something a bit more convenient than what I do know (Lens strapped to a tri-pod)
A couple of years ago I 3d printed a scope lens holder for my GS, so far it has held up well and has never let me down. it is a simple thing to draw and print as there is not much to it.
Another cost effective way of building one is to use a pipe retaining clip, that can be purchased for next to nothing and are also available in different diameters to match the lens size.
Then fix a piece of L profile aluminium by drilling a hole at the top to to place a bolt through to the fixing thread on the projector.
Place the lens into the retaining clip and then hold it up in front of the projectors lens, then mark off where the second hole needs to be drilled on the aluminum. Place a bolt through the aluminum and then some nuts to space out the distance between the aluminum and the retaining clip, so that both lenses align.
