“The Little Whirlwind” update

Just a brief message to let all collectors who purchased it know that the first Super 8 run for this title is ready from the lab. After checking each print, sound striping and recording in the different languages offfered they will be delivered to all of you who ordered it a while ago. Thank you very much for your patience. The lab had a serious technical issue that is now fully solved. If anyone is interested, 2 extra prints have been produced so you can still get one if you order quickly.

To all customers waiting for their prints, I just wanted to let you know that this week we’ve been able to check the first 16mm answer print and the Super 8 reduction prints and we’re absolutely satisfied. Andec has very high quality standards but being “The Little Whirlwind” our first job with them we’re sincerely and truly surprised by the results. IMHO, Super 8 looks much, much better now than decades ago, in its heydays: prints are so fine grained and detailed, colors are rich and truthful to the source and image is rock solid and steady in projection. Super 8 has never looked better. We’re very happy and hope that all collectors we’ll love their prints. This week, “The Little Whirlwind” prints will be soundtracked and, after that, sent to customers. “The drop of water” is about to be ready very soon too.
