WTD: THE CONQUEROR 1956 Scope EL CID 1961 Scope Features + Trailers.
The 8mm prints for "The Conqueror" came from Universal 8, and are flat, although the superb "El Cid" print is in glorious Cinemascope, although you may find the John Wayne film on 16mm Scope!
I just reviewed this trailer for "Conqueror" ,very sharp, little dark as I said. Unfortunately, it does not have the original leader on it, so I can't tell you who released it ... Sorry.
The Conqurer scope is a wonderful memory for.me as it was centre screen at the uk Watermans centre screening. My Dad was with me along with nearby Dave Prowse for I would like to get it for sentimental reasons
I'm beginning to fear these memories are going to be.lost....
If anyone can help please PM me with thanks
I will gladly swap my wide screen filmed hd S8 scan of my film of the event in exchange for the scope trailer. 1k scan.
