Yes, this release has excellent color but as is the case with certain Derann releases it is a touch on the soft side. Easter Parade is a march sharper print.
MMISL still makes for an enjoyable screening.
I have the Derann print of MMISL and I agree with Burton. The color is truly superb, as are contrast and black levels. Yes, the print is slightly soft, except in the Trolley Song sequence where, for some reason, the sharpness is all there. All in all still a great print, I rate it **** out of *****
