Had 'North by Northwest' many years ago and it was in it's original plastic camshell case. Only film I've ever owned that had the dreaded vinegar smell. Beware of anything in one of those cases Shorty. -
Oh, I know...believe me, however lately have had no problems with the "bookcase" plastic covers, as I call them...what I do upon receiving a film in one of these is to thoroughly wash the case (it helps), films have the usual "celluloid smell", but nothing to get excited over...if anything more, I pull maintenance immediately....ShortyComment
