Think it's the Cliff Workman...Turner usually runs it, starts with THE DANCER (Edison), then gradually goes decade by decade to the most-present day...then ends with the same dancer flickering image ..Will take in S8 or 16...Many thanks, Shorty

Thanks for posting that Ed, what a wonderful nod to the amazing world of the cinema. Beautifully edited , music spot on , that’s a must have for all serious collectors. Pity they didn’t release it on St 8 !

Shorty, I've been looking for a good copy of this film (in any format) and I have had no luck. It was produced for TCM back in 1994 and apparently never released to the public in any format. I would be happy to have a good 1080p recording from TV.

Here is a link to info on it at TCM: https://prod-www.tcm.com/tcmdb/title...ovies#overview

Chuck Workman is a master at these kind of films. Similar in many ways to Pieces of Silver, and yes it would make a great 200ft super 8 reel.

If there is a 16, I'm of a mind for it
