Looking for THE MASK OF ZORRO Reel 1

I am still looking for the first reel of the full feature THE MASK OF ZORRO starring Banderas, Zeta-Jones and Hopkins.
Maybe someone can help me.

The funny thing is: some collectors asked me „How can one reel of a feature get lost?“
I ask myself the same question!
I bought this print (reels 2-7) from a seller and he also didn’t know what the original owner did with reel 1.
This must be one of those collectors-mysteries...
Half a year I hoped that the seller calls and tells me „The original owner found reel 1 behind a cupboard“ or „in the cellar“ but this never happened.
But I learned to wait and I will never give up hope...

I think reel 1 can be used as a shorr film by itseld.
the older Zorro was spectacular and it had a good end.
Not sure if the rewl ended at that point.

We just watched this film again on bluray on my JVC DLA-X7B on a 120" screen.
A great movie indeed.

From time to time; some sellers on EBay sell separately different parts of a film, although they have all the reels !
