Looking for a 800ft reel that'll hold more film than 800ft is the posso 800 reel stamped on the reel as 830 ft can anyone here verfiy this?

Hi!
The majority of 240m-reels has a diameter of 24cm (800ft=243.84m). However, reels made by Posso (France) and Grasso (Italy) have a diameter of 25cm and can officially hold a little bit more than 250m (820ft). There are also a few models from other manufacturers with a slightly smaller core and/or slightly larger diameter that can hold even more film.
Please note that some projectors for 240m-reels (aka 800ft-reels) cannot accept reels with a diameter larger than 24.5cm. Hence, the Posso-/Grasso-reels wouldn’t work on them.
Fun fact: According to the Grasso-reels, 250m equals 750ft, while my calculator says that 750ft equals 228.6m.

My copy of Ten Commandments along with the trailer of Cecil B Demill spliced in the beginning is right at the edge of the reel would like transfer it to slightly larger reel thanks for your input.Comment
